Welcome to Phoebe & Friends, the home of great spaniel training in Surrey and Hampshire. Based out of Farnham, and working across these two Home Counties, we support a wide range of spaniels and their wonderful owners - helping all get more from their walks, more out of each other, and more out of life. Phoebe & Friends provides specialist training exclusively for spaniels. Cockers, springers and working spaniels are intelligent, driven and endlessly devoted - and they deserve training that understands the breed inside out.

I know how hard it can be to give your best friend everything you want to when life gets busy. That’s why Phoebe & Friends exists: to support owners with professional, breed-specific spaniel training, behavioural trouble-shooting and nutrition advice, whether you need regular guidance or occasional help. Your dog gets the structure, stimulation and care they deserve, and you get peace of mind.
How it all began…
My love affair with spaniels started long before our gorgeous Phoebe came along. From the moment we began training her as a puppy, I realised spaniel training isn’t just about building skill outdoors - it’s about deepening the bond between you and your dog. Kind, firm training, healthy mental stimulation and balance are what create confident, happy spaniels with behaviours that last.
Today, alongside Phoebe, her son Jester and daughter Cassie, we’re proud to have three beautifully field-trained spaniels at the heart of Phoebe & Friends. We’ve been lucky enough to learn from outstanding professional trainers, and it’s a privilege to pass those foundations on to other spaniel families.
Calm, kind & structured training
My approach is calm, loving and consistent. Training is normally 1-1 so that your spaniel receives focused attention, tailored to their age and ability. Hands are used kindly, communication is clear, and eye contact is central to building trust.
Most importantly, I’ll be training you as owner and handler - building your own confidence and skills, and showing you enjoyable, fun techniques that have stood the test of time.

Nutrition & whole-dog wellbeing
Feeding your spaniel well is one of the greatest gifts you can give them. Canine nutrition is a real passion of mine, and I’m always happy to guide owners towards a diet that supports their spaniel’s energy, health and longevity - while still fitting real life, real budgets and busy households. Training, exercise and food all work together. When those elements are balanced, spaniels thrive.
Always here to support you - your 'forever team'
However long you train with us, our partnership doesn't stop there. Many clients come back to us for ad-hoc sessions or for a top-up. Even if you move away from the area, we're always just a phone call or a video call away.
